The Gray Matters at Riverdale High School

This past Friday, March 7, Riverdale High School had an assembly for The Gray Matters Collective. The founder of Grey Matters, Haley Degrave, came to the Riverdale School District! Three Riverdale High School students, seniors Adam Benoit, Brody Barrett, and Jorie Slone, attended and spoke at this assembly. They all told their stories and how much The Gray Matters has helped them and their peers. Haley spoke about her story and why she decided to start this amazing organization! At the end of this assembly, there was an activity that quite a few of our students participated in! About 15 students answered mental health questions with this or that answers by moving to different sides of the gym. This assembly has helped Riverdale School District students realize that they are not alone and to not be afraid to speak up for mental health!
