Running Rams Jump Start Season

On March 7th, both the Boys and Girls Riverdale Track Teams traveled to Knox College in Galesburg to kick off their seasons. Placing for the Boys’ Team were: Braeden Bode, 2nd place 1600m; Caen Beckett, Baylor Smith, Dalton Loy and Merik Rozek, 7th Place 4x200m; Nolan Pierce, Connor Musser, Cole Barrett and Caen Beckett, 4th place 4x400m; Colton Heim, Garrett Enright, Miles Peterson and Charlie Berk, 7th place 4x400m; Nolan Pierce, Connor Musser, Cole Barrett and Miles Petersen 2nd place 4x800; Copper Desseyn, 1st place Triple Jump. Placing for the Girls’ Team were: Kenadie Willemkens, 5th place 200m; Grace Schmidt, 6th 800m; Ava Gaulrapp, 2nd place 1600m; Kaylee Overton, 6th place 60m Hurdles; Kenadie Willemkens, Naomi Peschang, Avery Beeler and Preslie Willemkens, 6th place 4x200m; Avery Beeler, Grace Schmidt, Ava Gaulrapp and Naomi Peschang, 4th place 4x400m; Brooklyn Peterson, 1st Shot Put; Emme Deblaey, 3rd place Triple Jump. The girl’s next track meet is March 11th and the boy’s next track meet is March 13th with the girls as well.
