Student Council Blood Drive

On Tuesday, February 25th, Riverdale High School’s Student Council held a blood drive. The student council members did an amazing job of making sure everyone was taken care of. They all made sure people felt okay and helped them stay calm. This helped everyone donating have a good experience and weren’t feeling too nervous. It’s very crucial that people donating remain calm and don’t get too worked up. The generous contributions from Riverdale students will help save the lives of many! In total, 26 students made a donation of blood, 12 being first time donors, which is amazing to see! Junior Amanda Shadrick says “I’m so grateful that I was able to be a part of such an uplifting experience. Being able to help those in need is truly amazing! Thank you [to] all of those who helped out!”
