Riverdale Cross Country Begins Season

Riverdale High School's cross Country Team competed in the Oregon Open Invitational Meet on Saturday, September 2, 2023. The boy’s team took 2nd place overall with a score of 112. The girl’s team placed 7th and scored 186. The highest scorer for the boy’s team was Braeden Bode who placed 6th. Mattea Wuest was the highest placing for the girls, placing 18th. There were 22 boys teams and 16 girls teams competing. The JV cross country teams also competed and did really well. There was great competition on the course in Oregon on Saturday. The next time they compete will be Saturday, September 9th, at Luther College.
