Lady Rams Take on Sherrard

On September 10th, the Lady Rams Volleyball teams traveled to Sherrard High School to compete. Unfortunately, the freshmen team lost in two sets. After that game, the JV team turned it around and won in two sets. The varsity team was a much more intense game. They did not get the results they wanted and ended up losing in two sets. In the first set, the score kept going back and forth between the two teams, making it a very close game. Sherrard ended up winning 26-24. Kennadie Willemkens, junior, led the team in kills with five. Behind her, was her sister, Preslie WIllemkens, a sophomore, with four. Junior, Kamryn Kruger, led the team in aces and digs with two aces and eight digs. Senior, Breckin DeLaRosa, also had eight digs and 16 assists.
The Lady Rams now have a record of 10-4-1 overall for their season. They played next on September 17th against Mercer County at Mercer County High School.
