The Riverdale Rams beat Mendota

On August 30th, The Riverdale Varsity Football Team played their first away game of the season against the Mendota Trojans. They played very well and walked away with a win of 23-12! On September 2nd, the Riverdale Rams JV Football Team also took on the Mendota Trojans. The Riverdale Rams JV Football Team successfully defeated Mendota 53-0! They played extremely hard against the Trojans and were unbeatable. Sophomore, Carter Orr, is a varsity football player. He said, “Riverdale has gained a lot more players this season. Word has it the play book has changed, hopefully for the better.” Sophomore on the JV team, Jayden Leighty, said “It felt great to win more than varsity did against Mendota.” It is looking like it's going be a good season for Riverdale Football, so make sure to support Riverdale Rams Football this season!
