Future Football Cheerleaders

The Riverdale football cheerleading program has started looking forward to next year. On April 11th and 12th, our returning cheerleaders and incoming freshmen class learned a 24-count dance and a cheer for tryouts on April 13, 2022. Our cheerleaders were also told to make their own cheer and perform it in front of the judges. After two days of hard work, the Riverdale cheerleaders were ready to show off their skills. The results were posted later that day and our cheerleaders couldn’t be happier! Congratulations to the following JV cheerleaders; Lili Arvanis, Kali Fuller, Katelyn Ludin, Bailey Phillips, Ella Sergeant, Taylor Churchill, Kennedy Kelley and Sophia Mattan. Representing the varsity cheer team are Peyton Hemm, Mia Housenga, McKayla Houzenga, Meadow Millard, Maggie Kelley, Isabel Lopez, Evie Miller, Brooke Porter, and Anna Vickers. Head coach, Caytie Arnold quotes, “Everyone did great at tryouts. I am excited to see what these young athletes will be able to do next year!!” Congratulations to the 2022 football cheerleaders!
