FFA Week at the High School

Last week, February 22nd - 25th, Riverdale High School celebrated FFA (Future Farmers of America) week with themed days every day. On Monday, there was no school due to Presidents’ Day. On Tuesday, the theme was jersey day. Wednesday was country day, which had a lot of interesting hat and boot combinations. That afternoon, the classes played dodgeball against each other. The seniors came out victorious. Thursday was “anything but a backpack” day. People came to school with things like microwaves, coolers, and shopping carts. This afternoon, a team of students played against the staff team in basketball. In the end, the staff won. Finally, Friday was Blue/Gold day to celebrate the FFA colors. The week went very well and had a great turnout with plenty of people participating in each themed day.
