Soccer Kicked Off Homecoming

On Friday, September 22nd, 2023, at 5:30 p.m., the Riverdale Rams Varsity Soccer Team defeated Orion. This game was held at the Riverdale Athletic Field. During this game, Aiden Sensebaugh, Junior, scored two out of the three goals they got. Jase Ball, Senior, got the other goal of the game. Brody Clark, Junior, helped out with an assist.

On Saturday, September 23rd, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., at the Riverdale Athletic Field, they got to play Canton before heading to homecoming. The Riverdale Rams Varsity Soccer Team won 2-0. Aiden Sensebaugh, Junior, scored both goals in that game. Jase Ball, Senior, stepped in as goalie for the Rams in place of both Geest brothers who were out because of injuries. The game against Canton was a shutout with Jase as goalie. Saturday, September 23rd, 2023, was also the team's game to recognize the seniors. They celebrated seniors, Jase Ball, Conner Geest, Tatum Broadway, Zac Bradley, and Jaydon Markle by announcing the players and their parents during halftime of the Varsity game.

Overall the Riverdale Soccer Team’s record this season so far is 5-7-1. Their next game is Tuesday, October 3rd, 2023, at Fulton Unity Christian.
