Scholastic Bowl Takes Action

On Saturday, November 18th, Riverdale High School hosted a scholastic bowl tournament. This tournament included Riverdale High School, LeSalle Peru, Morrison, Moline, Annawan, Mercer County, Rock Falls, Geneseo, and more. The Riverdale Rams were in the lead by 230-100 at halftime; by the end, Morrison was able to come back 340-300. Morrison High School took first place in the tournament, while Riverdale received second. For Riverdale, Billy Cox and Michael Gannon were top scorers with toss ups. Billy Cox was quoted saying, “It was tough losing to our rivals but otherwise the tournament was a great time and the team did well.”
