Students Attend College Fair

On November 16th, 2022, Riverdale High School students took a field trip to Kewanee to get information on specific colleges and universities. While there, students got the chance to hear what the colleges offer. Colleges there were University of Iowa, Iowa State, Bradley, Cornell, Mount Mercy, Monmouth, Carl Sandberg, North Central, Luther, UNI, Southern Illinois, Eureka, along with beauty and trade schools. This trip was available for any sophomores, juniors, and seniors. It was a great opportunity for students to see and hear about their potential college choices. Payton Hemm, one of the students who attended the trip states, “It was a good start to thinking about my future and seeing what options I could have when it comes to college.”
