Riverdale District Celebrates Homecoming

This past week, the Riverdale Rams had many exciting events happening! The Riverdale High School theme for this year's homecoming was Vegas! Student Council members begin every year by quickly planning a fun-filled homecoming. Riverdale students and staff have a theme every day of the week! At the high school the dress up day themes were as follows. Monday was Caesars Palace - wear your favorite team, jersey.  Tuesday was Pair-of-dice - dynamic duo day. Students chose someone to dress similarly with. Wednesday was Hard Rock Cafe - country vs. rock. Thursday was Walk of Stars - dress like a Celebrity day. Last but certainly not least, Friday was Bet It All On Black - Riverdale spirit! It was an enjoyable week packed with laughs, fun, and creativity! The Riverdale Rams Varsity Football Team played the Friday night homecoming game against the Erie Panthers. Riverdale had a great victory over the Panthers, winning 21-18! Junior, Gaege Heinsen, scored all three touchdowns! Riverdale High School students continued to have a busy homecoming weekend with a great homecoming dance on Saturday night in the high school gymnasium. Riverdale High School students say “It was a night to remember!”
