RHS Blood Drive

On October 10th, Riverdale High School’s Interact Club held a blood drive for anyone who wanted to help save lives. Interact members did an amazing job helping out, they made sure everyone was comfortable and helped them stay calm so everyone donating had a good experience. There were 30 donors, and 15 donors were first time donors! Their generous contributions will help the lives of about 84 people. A number of patients in need were impacted by Hurricane Milton, so these donations will help out tremendously. Senior, Kaylee DePorter, who was one of the first time donors said “I’m so glad I was able to be a part of such an impactful event. Being able to help so many others in need was truly an incredible experience. I encourage anyone who is able, to make a contribution of their own to help those who can’t help themselves.”
