Riverdale Baseball vs. Sterling

On Tuesday, March 19 at 4:30, Riverdale Baseball Rams played at Sterling High School against the Sterling Warriors. Dawson Peterson (Senior) was the starting pitcher. He pitched for 6 innings with five hits, one run, zero errors, two walks, and 14 strikeouts. Blake Sutton (Sophomore) came in as relief and pitched a four inning no hitter with five strikeouts, one walk and allowed no runs, earring the win in the books. Leyton Nelson (Senior) went 2-4, with two RBI’s including a go ahead single in the top of the 10th that scored Dawson Peterson and Maddox McWilliams (Senior) to help win the game. Dawson Peterson went 3-4 with two doubles and a single, and Maddox McWilliams went 0-3 with a walk and sac fly and one RBI. The Riverdale baseball boys played well and won the game 3-1.
