Rams Boys Basketball Senior Night

On Tuesday, January 31st, 2023, the Riverdale senior basketball boys played one last game on their home court against Sherard. This year's seniors included Trent Doty, Ethan Kiddoo, Quinton Herrick, Mitch Hasenour, and Carson Dalaska. All of the seniors were announced before the start of the varsity game, all seniors started when the game began. Most of the team had been playing together since they were junior rams. Seniors in Speech and Scholastic bowl were also announced before the game. Seniors in speech announced were Izzy Slone and Rylee Clark. Seniors in scholastic bowl that were announced were Brenden Zimmerman, James Ramos, Gavin Jenkins, Makenna Dittman, Emmett Mueller, Tommy Murray, and Veronica Urek was announced for both.

The Rams played hard and kept the score very close throughout the game but they ended up losing to the Sherrard Tigers. Senior, Carson Dalaska, said “I had a great time playing in the game and glad I was able to spend it with the team i've been playing with since I was young, although it wasn't the outcome we wanted, looking forward to the rest of the season and what it brings for our team.” The boys basketball season isn't over yet so make sure to support the rams at their upcoming away games!
