JV Scholastic Bowl Tournament

On Saturday, November 13th, 2021, the Riverdale JV Scholastic Bowl team had a tournament at Moline High School. The Rams lost two and won two.The match against Moline went into a sudden death overtime. Unfortunately the Rams lost, but it was a close match. Their overall score was 315-325. At the tournament, Sophomore Cael Hinde scored 10 toss ups, which is a total of 100 points. Cael quoted, “I like tournaments a lot, it’s really cool to work with my team to score points!” Freshman Michael Gannon also scored a total of 70 points with 7 toss ups. Freshman Billy Cox scored 6 toss ups, 60 total points. Sophomores, Logan Ogden and Oliver Bull, scored 4 toss ups each, scoring 40 total points each. We are proud of the Rams and can’t wait to see them go further! The scholastic bowl teams will keep working hard in order to win more tournaments. The next JV tournament will be on Saturday December 11th, 2021, at Roanoke-Benson High School. The next Varsity tournament will be on Saturday November 20th, 2021, at Riverdale High School.
