Boys Basketball, Cheerleading, and Speech Seniors Honored

On February 11, 2022, excitement was in the air for the last home boys basketball conference game against Erie/Prophetstown. Besides it being a big game, it was also a night to honor seniors for varsity boys basketball, cheerleading, and speech. The energy in the gym was high while the fans and student section cheered on the rams and the pep band played. The cheerleaders performed a routine for senior night during half time. The rams were victorious and came away with the win and the 3rd annual Gene DeClercq memorial shoot out trophy. The following basketball seniors were honored: Zach Duke, Max Maring, Andrew Meloan, Reece Richmond, Brady Rogers, Kye Smeltzly, and Brandon Stone. The cheerleader seniors were Kylie Klundt, Kennedy Klundt, and Addison Winger. Along with basketball and cheerleading, the speech seniors, Kyan Stuart and Jessee Pinson, were also honored. The Riverdale community is sad to see these seasons come to an end however, we are excited for the spring seasons to come.
