IHSA All-State Academic Team

On April 10th, 2023, Riverdale seniors, Alivia Bark and Tommy Murray went to Bloomington for the IHSA All-State Academic team banquet. The IHSA All-State Academics nominated 26 student athletes across Illinois that excelled at their sport as well as their academics. Alivia Bark was honored for her success as a softball player as well as her academic success. Bark  commented, “it was a really fun night and a great experience! It was an honor to be chosen for this award!” Tommy Murray was honored for his academics and his amazing long distance running records. Murray commented, “It was great, the food was good and I was honored to be around all of those great students with bright futures!” Our two student athletes were accompanied by their coaches, Kevin Claus (Riverdale Long Distance coach) and Randy Creen (Riverdale Softball coach). The Riverdale community congratulates these two student athletes for their success and representing Riverdale High School!
