Senior Night Wrestling

Senior night for Riverdale High School boys’ wrestling occurred on January 22nd at home. Seniors Blake Smith, Jake Baustion, Tyler Hasenhour, Kolton Kruse, and AJ Scranton were announced before the meet. After the first dual, the Junior Rams Wrestlers were announced and were so excited to be there. The Riverdale Rams versed the Rockridge Rockets and the Fulton Steamers. In the first dual, Riverdale went up against Rockridge and went up against the Fulton Steamers in the second dual. The Rams put up a fight but fell short in both duals. The boys fought hard and had some remarkable matches. Players who got pins were seniors, Kolton Kruse, Jake Baustian, and Tyler Hasenhour, and junior, Dean Wainwright, in the Rockridge Dual. In the Fulton dual, seniors, Kolton Kruse, and Jake Baustian,  juniors, Dean Wainwright, and Brayden Geigle, and sophomore, Ben Porter, got pins. Senior, Blake Smith, says “I’m so proud of everyone and I enjoyed being a part of such an incredible team.” Congratulations to the 2025 wrestling seniors!
