Riverdale Scholastic Bowl Beats St. Bede

February 24th the Riverdale High School Scholastic Bowl team traveled to Rockridge to compete against St. Bede at the conference tournament.  Riverdale was successful in winning the match 300-210.  Scoring toss-ups were Ely Pettit with 4, Jack Kelley and Rhaena Reece with 2 each, Garrett Houzenga and Tommy Murray with 1 each.  Riverdale finished the season with a 12-0 record.  Four of the Riverdale students made the All-Conference team.  The first team consisted of Pettit with 35 toss-ups and Murray with 27 toss-ups.  The second team consisted of Kelley with 22 toss-ups and Sidor with 21 toss-ups.  Regionals will be held at Riverdale on March 9.
