PTO Fall Festival
By: Alaina Heim
On Friday, October 28th, 2022, the Riverdale school district participated in a school wide Trunk or Treat. The event was at the Riverdale Elementary School parking lot using car trunks decorated by clubs from Riverdale High School and Middle School along with groups from around the community. Groups were handing out candy to the kids who were all dressed up in their Halloween costumes. “I had fun seeing our community coming together for this event and seeing everyone's different costumes!” said Teagan McGinty (Cross Country Trunk). “Seeing all the kids get excited about the candy and seeing the high school students and getting involved was very enjoyable!” said Mattea Wuest (PTO games and Cross Country Trunk). Cupcakes made by Frosted by Isabella and energy drinks made by Pulse were for sale and some games were put on by the PTO. There was also a cakewalk run by the Juniors raising money for After Prom. The kids were all excited and having fun getting candy and playing games while their parents got to see all of the clubs in the community. This is the second year having this event and it seems it will be here for years to come.
