Pinning At Princeton

This past Friday and Saturday, January 5th and 6th, the Riverdale High School Wrestling team competed in the Princeton Invitational Tournament. The Princeton Invitational Tournament was held at Princeton High School. There were eight Riverdale wrestlers that competed in the tournament. The team placed 8th out of 33 teams. Placing individually for the Rams were Iyezayha Hill (8th), Zac Bradley (3rd), Dean Wainwright (1st), and Blake Smith (1st). Blake also received the Outstanding Wrestler award for the upper weights. Senior Zac Bradley stated, “The Princeton wrestling tournament has always been really fun, this year was the first year of my high school career that everyone we brought was able to make it to day two of the tournament and we all thought that was pretty cool.” The team has had a great season so far and is looking forward to their next meet on January 12th in Erie!
