Lady Rams Victory Week

This week, the Lady Rams Volleyball teams went up against Orion on September 24th. They went into the games knowing that this would be one of their biggest contenders and they would have to bring all the energy they had to win. The freshmen team lost in a close three sets while the JV team lost in two sets. Meanwhile, the varsity team lost the first set 13-25 and came back in during the second set and won 25-23. The third set was intense, and the Rams came out on top winning 25-16. Junior, Kenadie Willemkens led the team with kills with eight, followed by junior, Katie Cox, with six. Sophomore, Cayleigh Hungate, had five aces against the Orion Chargers.
On September 25, the Lady Rams faced the Morrison Fillies. All three teams won their games in two sets. The varsity team won both sets 25-19. Willemkens once again led the team in kills with seven, with Sophomore, Preslie Willemkens, following with five. Senior, Breckin DeLaRosa, led the team with four aces. Over both games this week, Breckin collected 46 assists.
The Lady Rams now have a record of 14-4-1 overall for their season. They played next on October 1st, against Erie-Prophetstown at Riverdale High School.
