Lady Rams Softball Starting out Strong

The Riverdale softball team won their first game on March 20th, beating St Bede 7-1. The girls came out fighting hard. “We made a lot of great in-game adjustments that helped us come home with a win. It is a great way to start the season,” says Alivia Bark, one of the team captains. This game was full of accomplishments. Bark had hit two home runs and Katie Cox, a freshman, had hit her first home run of her first high school season. At the first home game, on March 21st, the team beat Allemen 4-2. They also beat UT 6-1 on Wednesday, March 23rd. The Riverdale High School softball season has started off strong. The Lady Rams played Monmouth-Roseville on Monday, the 27th and won 16-1.
