Jim Boyd Tournament

This past weekend on December 9th, the Riverdale varsity wrestling team had a tournament at Riverdale High School. It was the Jim Boyd Tournament, which is hosted at Riverdale High School every year. The team placed 4th overall in the tournament. With individual placements from: Blake Smith in first place in the 150-pound weight class, Kolton Kruse in second place in the 144-pound weight class, Dean Wainwright in second place in the 126-pound weight class, Tharren Jacobs in third place in the 120-pound weight class, and Jake Schradeya in third place in the 215-pound weight class. Last week, senior, Tharren Jacobs, completed his one-hundredth win and received a plaque and banner to honor his achievements. Senior Zac Bradley is expected to receive his one-hundredth win within the next coming weeks.
