Jams with Rams! A Virtual Fine Arts Event
Our first VIRTUAL fine arts night! Record videos of yourself singing, playing instruments, dancing, telling jokes, performing a magic trick, acting out a story, upload pictures of artwork you’ve created... Anything that you have done or created that might bring a bit of happiness to someone in this crazy time we are experiencing right now! All uploads must be received by May 15th. You can post your videos and photos on the Facebook event page, here.
If you don’t see it uploaded instantly, don’t worry! We will have to approve things before everyone else can see them. Even though this is hosted by the elementary school, it is open for anyone in the community! Middle schoolers, high schoolers, graduates, parents, grandparents… anyone who wants to participate is able to! If you know someone who is a great performer, invite them to share their talents with us, too! Just remember that this is a public Facebook event and anyone who visits the event page will be able to view videos and photos that are uploaded. And this goes without saying, but we want this to be a positive and encouraging environment for everyone, so any rude or negative comments left on a post will be removed.
If you or a family member doesn’t have a Facebook account but still would like to upload something to share with the community, email your video or picture to Miss Harris (bharris@riverdaleschools.org) and she will upload it to the page for you!
Elementary students and parents, if you’d like to participate, but do not want to post on the Facebook page, simply post your photo or video to your seesaw account and only your teachers and parents will be able to see them.
We hope that seeing your friends and community members performing will bring a smile to your day. We can’t wait to see all of your talents shared online, but even more, we can’t wait to see you all again and be creative together.
