Golf Team Sectional Runners Up

On October 14th, 2020 the Riverdale Rams took second place at the IHSA sectionals! 

It was some of the most challenging conditions they’ll ever see in high school golf and they couldn’t have handled it better. With winds gusting 50+ mph at times, the Rams were in it to win it right up until the end. They showed a lot of grit and determination. Congratulations to Jordan Gorgas(13th), Sam Willems(9th), Ben Nelson (8th), and to James Moorhusen (5th) for finishing so well individually.  

In what would be a normal year, the Rams would be headed to Bloomington to compete at the state tournament for a fourth consecutive year. But there wasn’t anything normal about this season. The Riverdale Community is proud of how these boys handled such a different year with nothing but class. As always, the Rams represented themselves, their families, and Riverdale in the best of ways.
